Back from the international break, with league games over the last two weekends, and European fixtures midweek. Both Madrid teams clocked up single goal victories on Tuesday, Morata scoring for Atleti against Bayer Leverkusen, and Kroos for Real against Galatasaray, and on Wednesday Messi netted for Barcelona in a 1-2 win at Slavia Prague, and Cheryshev for Valencia in a 1-1 draw at Lille. And on Thursday Campuzano got Espanyol’s winner against Ludogorets, and Franco Vázquez (2) and Munir were the scorers for Sevilla against Dudelange. Getafe though dropped their first points after they lost 0-1 to Basel.
In week 9, Griezmann, Messi and Luis Suárez were all on target as Barcelona beat Eibar 0-3 to go top. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid were absent for week 10 though after the “clásico” was postponed, and consequently Gerard Moreno and Loren lead the Liga “Pichichi” rankings at the moment, with seven goals apiece.
