Spain top their group on maximum points after beating Lithuania 3-1 in their second group match. Despite dominating the first half they were unable to find the route to goal, Sergio Ramos heading against the post and David Villa having a strike ruled out for offside after Karcemarskas had saved a header from David Silva.
Just a minute after the restart though Llorente got on the end of a Sergio Ramos cross to head past the keeper, and although Sernas equalised a few minutes later, Llorente restored the lead almost immediately with a second header from a centre by Cazorla.
The visiting keeper did well to save from Silva at point blank range after the Manchester City midfielder turned a wayward shot from Villa goalwards, but he was left stranded with ten minutes to go when Silva steered a long header over his head in to the top corner of the net from another Ramos cross.
Spain had done the job in Del Bosque's home town of Salamanca, and they now go on to Glasgow to meet Scotland in four days time.
