A walk in the park for Spain in their latest friendly game, Julen Lopetegui’s side running out 5-0 winners against an innocent Costa Rica. The visitors were missing key players such as Keylor Navas and Joel Campbell, and with only six minutes gone Jordi Alba fired the opener past Albacete reserve keeper Danny Carvajal. Morata had a couple of shots saved before scoring the second after the keeper failed to hold on to a cross from David Silva, and Silva himself added two more after the restart, both thanks to defensive mistakes. With twenty minutes to go Iniesta ran through from midfield unchallenged to score the fifth, and debutant keeper Kepa didn’t have a save to make until the very end, when he had to stop a shot from Deportivo’s Celso Borges.
