Real Madrid are in to the final of the Club World Cup after they beat Club América 2-0 on Thursday. After a couple of early chances from Ibarra, Zidane’s team were on top, Ronaldo hitting the woodwork a couple of times before Benzema picked up a pass from Kroos to open the scoring on the stroke of half time. Ronaldo and Modric tested Muñoz after the break, Ronaldo missed an easy header and Morata fired a shot just wide of the post. And with the game coming to an end James put Ronaldo through to score the second, the players and spectators having to wait a couple of minutes or so whilst the referee checked on the experimental screen whether the Portuguese forward was offside or not. In the end he allowed the goal, and Madrid go through to play Japan champions Kashima Antlers in the final on Sunday.
