Getafe. A wake-up call for Spain in their last warm-up game before the European championships, Del Bosque’s side losing 0-1 to Georgia, currently ranked number 137 in the World! The coach could count on his full squad for the first time, although Morata was rested after picking up a knock in the last friendly game, and the four new incorporations were only given limited run-outs. Spain totally dominated the opening minutes, Aduríz heading just wide and Thiago hitting the post, but with five minutes to go to the break Okriashvili gave the East Europeans the lead after Jigauri set him up on a quick breakaway. Del Bosque made several changes after that, but even with all his fire-power on the park, and with Georgia’s reserve keeper replacing Revishvili after a clash of heads with Busquets, there was no way past a heavy populated defence.
