Spain won their first warm-up game for this summer's Confederations Cup, although Haiti put up a good fight before falling to a 2-1 defeat in Miami. Cazorla opened the scoring early on with a shot from outside f the area, and Fàbregas headed the second from Mata's cross with less than twenty minutes gone. However the large number of substitutions slowed the game down, and although Soldado hit the woodwork a couple of times, Guerrier got one back after running through to round Reina and shoot in off the far post with a quarter of an hour to go. Del Bosque's side now go to New York to play Eire before flying out to Brazil.
