1-3. 69. Pedro. Steered shot wide of Vilar after good run by Iniesta from left flank.

Barcelona are en route a historic sixth title this year after beating Atlante 1-3 in the Club world Cup semi-final in Abu Dhabi. The Mexican side took a surprise lead in only the fifth minute when Rojas ran on to a long clearance from Vilar to lift the ball over Víctor Valdés and slide it in to the net. Pep Guardiola's side dominated after that though, and Busquets equalised ten minutes before the break after Touré Yaya headed on Xavi's corner.

Guardiola had rested Messi at the start as the Argentinian star was carrying a knock, but eight minutes after the restart he decided it was time to bring him on. And less than a minute later he got his name on the scoresheet after picking up Ibrahimovic's pass and running on to clip a shot past the keeper. A few minutes later Iniesta produced a good run which ended with him slipping the ball through for Pedro to score a third, the young forward setting what will probably be an unbeatable record of scoring in six different competitions this year.

Valdés still had some work to do, keeping out Rafa Márquez's name-sake as he advanced on goal, but Ibrahimovic and Bojan could have increased the lead later on. The bad news for Barça was an injury to Iniesta which will keep him out of Saturday's final against Estudiantes, but the Catalans must still be favourites after another impressive performance.
